A Creusoise cottage

This Creusoise cottage has two different aspects and needs two different electrical approaches.

The original cottage is a two-up-two-down and is already habitable. To bury all the cables would create a great deal of mess and disruption. The alternative is to use surface-mounted equipment which, as you can see from the photos, can blend in with existing features.

Another building, which is attached to the cottage, will be developed into part of the house in the future. In this situation, new walls, ceilings and floors will be created, so the electrical installation will be largely hidden in the finished room. The same approach can be used for lights and sockets as well as for loudspeaker points, TV and telephone installations.
